The best way to view and purchase artwork by Lee Kelly is to contact the Elizabeth Leach Gallery, where Lee has been represented since 1986. From time to time, we will offer small sculpture and two-dimensional work for sale here on the website. What’s the difference? Working in Lee’s studio, I come across pieces every day that I love and want to share with collectors of Lee’s work. Unusual, older pieces can be found here as well as works that demonstrate the development of Lee’s work over his long career.

Pumalin Series, 2015
Inspired by a trip to Argentina in 2014, these three small sculpture feature layers of translucent acrylic urethane paint over gold leaf. This surface demonstrates Lee’s ease in using gold leaf, not only as a color and surface in itself but also as part of a richly worked surface. While Lee continues to use gold leaf on the surface of small sculptural editions, this series is notable for the experimental use of gold embedded in painted layers.
